Standard Lion Dance

Our standard lion dances are most suitable for restaurants, schools assesmbly’s, small events and stage performances. The standard lion dance starts with two sleeping lions who slowly awaken to the beat of the Chinese drum. Once awake the lions spring to life performing a number of tricks and interacting with your customers, ensuring a highly entertaining and great experience for all.

All of our standard lion dances come with two Chinese Lions and live Chinese music (Drum, Gong & Cymbals). To increase the energy and activity at your performance you can also request additional Chinese Lions and/or Chinese Monks.

You may also request other free additions to your standard lion dance:

  • Eating of the lettuce
  • feeding of the oranges
  • electronic Chinese firecrackers
  • lucky red money packets

Roaming Lion Dance

Our roaming lion dances are most suitable for large venues and/or events (e.g. shopping centres, street parties, markets) where our lions are required to cover large areas or dance in multiple places. A roaming dance sees the musicians follow alongside the lions throughout the performance. The roaming lion dance starts with two sleeping lions who slowly awaken to the beat of the Chinese drum. Once awake the lion springs to life performing a number of tricks and interacting with your customers as they move through your venue or event, ensuring a highly entertaining and great experience for all

All of our roaming lion dances come with two Chinese Lions and live roaming Chinese music (Drum, Gong & Cymbals). To increase the energy and activity at your performance you can also request additional Chinese Lions and/or Chinese Monks.

Special Lion Dances

Our special lion dances cater for more specific and specialised events. The performances include much of what you’ll find in a standard or roaming lion dance however, these dances contain special additions specific to the type of event.

These performances can start with our standard routine however we are happy to work with you to ensure that the performance we provide suits your individual needs and works in seamlessly with your event.

Our wedding lion dance will see the lucky oranges being handed to the bride and groom while our ceremonial lion dances will see the same oranges presented to important delegates or attendees. Our quiet lion dance also brings active lions however they dance without music, which is great way to involve them in your existing promotion or event, allowing you to talk while they perform.

The kids birthday lion dance will bring lots of energy and activity with our lions interacting with all of the children to ensure a fun day is had by all.

Our dragon dance involves the Gold Coast’s longest dragon. At 18 metres long our dragon will wind its way around your event.

Special Chinese Restaurant Lion Dances

Our special Chinese restaurant lion dances cater for Chinese Restaurants during Chinese holiday and festival celebrations. These lion dances are the traditional dances you will see in Chinese Restaurants the world over with the blessing of your restaurant and its kitchen during traditional festival likes Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival and the Mooncake Festival.

Our sleeping lions slowly awaken to the beat of the Chinese drum. Once awake the lions spring to life performing a number of tricks and interacting with your customers, ensuring a highly entertaining and great experience for all. The joy, prosperity, and good luck is brought into the restaurants, homes, and businesses, and taken on by the people who feed the lucky red money packets into the lions mouth.
